It is supposed to be the safest way to travel, a quick drop into Q.A and in minutes you’ve traveled light years. No one thinks anything of the process now, but for the space faring vessel Richmond, a simple trip to a distant planet will prove far more deadly than anyone could have expected.

The transport ship Richmond on a routine trip through the Void tot planet Joxem is attacked and forcibly dropped back into normal space. Something not heard of in over a century of traveling the Void. Now faced with the loss of a large number of its crew, a quickly shrinking window in which to try save them, and to figure out the reason they were attacked.
Jackie awakens aboard a ship belonging to the Nocklens, an honorable warrior race, who were paid to kidnap someone on board The Richmond. Unfortunately, they were unknowingly kidnapping the wrong person. She must play the part to learn the fate of her crew-mates, including her fiance Sam and find a way to escape.
Those trapped in the Void without a ship, precious little heat and air and no way to relay the full extent of what is really in the Void and how it will change the way space travel is conducted going forward. Sam happened to have a comm unit when he was popped from the safety of the Richmond into the Void. Are his attempts to contact Jackie futile? Will he be rescued?
Laura, a Royle, is the key to understanding what has occurred aboard the Richmond and in how to save the crew. Trying to be seen as more than a bloodline, she must find a way to undo the mess her father has created and also save her new friend Jackie and reunite her with her love before it is too late.
